GoWild's Very Own, John Hunter, Finishes 3rd at FLW Tournament

GoWild Chief Strategy Officer, John Hunter, went wild down in Florida last weekend. John entered the FLW tournament championship in 10th place. He caught 21 pounds on Sunday, which helped him jump all the way to 3rd on the final weigh in. 

"It sure is fun being in the hunt," John said, shortly after the weigh in. "This makes the itch to win that much stronger. I have to give a big congrats to the Canadian crew, Chris Johnston and Jeff Gustafson, on the 1-2 finish."

It was a dramatic day, leaving the FLW crew anxious to get to weigh in. They knew John had made leaps and bounds. Overall 47 bass weighed in on Sunday, with 141 pounds, 10 ounces, caught by the final 10 pros. The catch included nine five-bass limits.

John's currently standing at 7th overall in the FLW's 2018 standings with 345 points. He's got a short break before he's off to Lanier for the next tournament.
