GoWild is Donating 100% of Profits to Tornado Relief
Our founding team grew up in small towns across Kentucky and Indiana. These are towns just like Mayfield, Ky., one of the cities devastated by the horrific recent tornadoes that ripped through the south and midwest. Seeing the footage over the weekend was painful, because it felt like home.
We know what it’s like to recognize folks everywhere you go.
We know what it’s like to take a two minute drive across town.
We know that small towns can build strong values and work ethics.
GoWild is donating 100% of our profits from all online merchandise sales from Dec. 15, 2021 to Dec. 17, 2021 to support the victims of storm damage.
And of course, we know how slow life can move in a town of a few thousand people. But on Sunday, Dec. 11, time didn’t go slow enough for some. In a matter of seconds, the world was tossed upside down for thousands.
Rural America is misunderstood and often forgotten by much of the country. All too soon, these awful events will be replaced with a new headline of the week, but the road to recovery for the small towns hit by these storms will be slow and go well into 2022.
Small towns in great states like Kentucky, Indiana, and Missouri are a part of our team’s upbringing, and they’re a part of our fabric as a company. We spent much of Saturday morning checking on our GoWild community who live in this area, and many were kind enough to check on us. To all of them, and everyone else who is starting the painful rebuilding process, we promise not to forget, and we are committed to helping.
GoWild is donating 100% of our profits from all online merchandise sales from Dec. 15, 2021 to Dec. 17, 2021 to support the victims of storm damage. Once a final figure is determined, we will make an immediate donation to the Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund no later than Dec. 22, 2021.
All orders placed at shopgowild.com between Dec. 15 and Dec. 17 are eligible. We also ask that anyone who is able to help donate as well.
As we’ve said since the very beginning, we’re stronger together.
