For my initial testing these boots preformed well. The traction of the soles are as expected on loose soils and on the wet and mossy rocks and debris of creek bottoms, and they are waterproof as advertised. The 9” height is also nice, adding ankle support for uneven terrain. 
I’ll share an additional review later in the hunting season when I have more time in the boot and can speak to the durability and the insulation.
