@Ted I took my grandson with me for the last couple of years trapping so he knows how to do it, just how much he paid attention is going to come into play now. I hope he remembers the things I showed him, he still makes me proud with what he is doing, just wishing he can catch some coon and beaver.

Wow! Awesome, to the young men!🤜🏻🤛🏻

  • That was how it all started for me. Trapping. My father did nt really hunt, but my grandfather was a serious rabbit and pheasant hunter. That was a lot of what they ate back then. Unfortunately grandpa died in a car crash when I was about 8 so I never really got to talk to him or got to know him well. My parents had a rental house, there was a tennent named Brian who gave me a bunch of Fur, fish, and game magazines. I was probably 12 or 13. Me and a buddy started a trap line and checked them in the mornings before school using a moped to travel the roads at 5am. I had my first close encounter with a doe while setting conibears in a swamp. And so my love and passion for deer began. I’m a self taught sportsman and also a self taught taxidermist. I think grandpa would of liked me.🦃🕊️🦝🦌

@Chappel I am sure he is still right beside you smiling every time you go on any outdoor activity, he would be very proud of what you have accomplished in life.

@Lisa I walked them through it...lol. Told them the only way to learn was to jump right in and do it, they got them done but it took them about 4 times longer than it should have..hahaha
