Would you pass up a shot like Melinda on your target buck?

Mmmmmm. Depends on how much work you’ve put in on the bow range…. I’m kind of a “make your own luck” kind of guy. Hard angles and tight margins are only that way if you haven’t put in the reps. Arrow goes where you place it. Confidence in bow hunting comes from time put in. Just my two cents! PRÖST!

@Big There is something to be said about developing the skills needed to create more opportunities. Additionally having the right hardware to do the job as well. Pain is a great motivator for change, whether it’s the pain of watching the buck of your dreams walk off into the sunset, or the pain of wounding an animal taking a shot you weren’t prepared for.

@Sean well said, I’ve rushed shots and been unsuccessful. Those situations drove me to put more time in, for sure. Having said that, I know now when to take a shot or let down. I’ve done both, had my heart broken as well. Guess we gotta keep on keeping on!
