I’d say consistency definitely the Ned rig, but for monster bass, I’d say a mega draft swim bait, but you will not catch anywhere near as many fish

For nostalgia purposes the original floating rapala works wonders if you want some top water action. My dad refuses to use anything else and he still beats me in heaviest fish and number of fish each time we go out.
