    I’d say that’s pretty tight. The average buck is 7 1/4” from his eye to the tip of his nose. Not sure you could double that in his spread.

    Ear tip to ear tip is generally 13-15”. This is why I’m not a fan or “spread” as a rule for taking or not taking deer. In the wild, deer are constantly moving their ears and to get remotely close the deer would have to be directly face or directly walking away. Even then you could be a couple inches short. I prefer a minimum number of points on one side rule. It would be a close call on this one. If your club is super strict on this rule I’m not sure I’d take the risk. If not, I’d send it. You can’t eat the antler spread.

    I say around 12 inches. Not close to 15 I don’t believe
