    I’ve been down that road. Learned the hard way that I needed my draw length adjusted, then learned the hard way that I was straightening my arm a little too much.

    @Eric straightening the arm is exactly what is getting me.

    @Dan that was getting me earlier this season. I just got into archery last year and got a sort of late jump on practicing this year. After such a gap between shooting I sort of lost my form. First two times out practicing the string kept smacking my forearm and I couldn’t figure out why. A buddy of mine told me not to straighten my arm and sure enough I haven’t had the string hit me since (I’ll go knock on wood now…)

    I just wear an arm guard. Simple, Easy. Done. Protected.
    Hope the pain goes away quickly 🙏
