Hey @David! If you're looking for a compact backpack for saddle hunting that can carry your gear like 1-2 sticks and a platform, I recommend checking out the North Mountain Gear Green Camouflage Hunting Backpack. It's designed with hunters in mind and has multiple pockets and organizer loops for storing your essentials. The expandable front bottom pocket is great for accommodating your sticks and platform. It's made of durable polyester camo fabric and has a padded back panel for comfort. You can find more details about it [here](URL). Happy hunting! I’m not using a backpack, but like my Timber Hawk Guthook. Enough storage on the back and around the waist and easy to strap a couple sticks to. I use the bow holder to carry my platform. All of that said, I’m still pretty new at this.

@Eric I used the horn hunter from cabelas same basic thing as this works really well with 3 sticks

It’s not much more compact than that I don’t think but this is my favorite I’ve tried. I run 3 30inch sticks and a platform on it very comfortably and easily

Man I got an academy special with a liter pouch for water and it’s boss man. Holds my sticks, has pockets for necessities. Small and lean. But if I had more bread to spend maybe I would upgrade. Idk though, this one is awesome and I used it in a tree to smoke a good deer yesterday evening

I use the one from Trophyline. It has a platform specific pouch and plenty of pockets. I like it, going on year 2 with it now.

Predator pack with a plate carrier water bladder organizer attached. Has been working great for me. There is a video on YouTube about it. I just don’t remember who did it at the moment.

Sitka Cargo Box is very nice for long sits, as you can pretty much take all your belongings with you lol

I’m a bow hunter at heart. Partial to chasing hogs, turkeys, deer, and coyotes. Love shooting, fishing, camping, bushcraft and just enjoying our great parks and public wma’s.
