Nice work!!! I haven’t done any crow hunting in a handful of years now, but we used to have a blast! Maybe after duck season is over I’ll start crow hunting again. Lol

@Owen Howson I read on MeatEater they taste similar to chicken but are tougher.

@Cameron Bagwell I have not tried eating them yet as my wife isn’t too high on cooking them.  I do have a recipe though for crow jerky I’d like to try sometime.  At this point just keeping them cleaned up for the farmers and reducing some of the crop destruction they cause.

Yesterday a friend and I had a successful crow hunt, downing 44 birds.  After spending parts of Wednesday and Thursday trying to locate a good flock in a huntable location, we finally decided on a spot Thursday afternoon and the landowner was generous and gave us permission to hunt.  I set up the blind on Thursday afternoon in an area that offered good cover and in a location where they had both been using as a fly way and also feeding at.  Friday morning we arrived before daybreak and set up our decoys.  The action was pretty steady all morning until fading off around lunchtime.  Next time I need to do a better job with the photos.  It was a good hunt to wrap up 2022.
