It was super cold and windy opening morning of rifle season and was on the crp field and didn’t see much. So that afternoon I wanted to get out of the wind. I chose to hit down in the thick stuff of the creek. I had does come in early and shot one. Then right before last legal he jump the creek and was trying to go behind me and shot him and ran straight toward me and tipped over in the creek. Very proud to get him on my grandpas place and would have been proud of him. He score 138 with a ton of mass. He was seven this year and went down on his antlers from the past
