    @Garrett I’ve hunted these dogs in S. Florida, S. Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and California. They have not had a problem trailing in any of those states or various terrains and environmental conditions.

    @Garrett I have hunted these dogs in S. Florida, S. & W. Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and California. I’ve never had a problem trailing in any of those states and there are obviously major differences in terrain and environmental conditions. These dogs can trail a 2 day old lion track in good conditions which I do not need or prefer but the can and do. A wise man once said to me, “why would you want to trail a lion that could already be at the taxidermist?”

    @Shorty wise men are wise for a reason. How do you think your breeding of dogs would do off a rig? You hunt a lot of horse back and roading them correct? A old timer (Billy Lucas) that I learned everything from had trig dogs crossed with running dogs and them dogs caught big and small game all seasons. Don’t see much of them around now days.

    @Joe They do rig while I wouldn’t consider them “rig dogs” I start a lot of tracks off the rig. They also start a spotted track off the road or trail and obviously free cast off an equine, truck, atv or utv. I have to be able to catch them in any condition using any method.
