My experience is that the bags you buy are more important than the make of the vacuum sealer itself. Food saver and Weston are definitely good choices as well as those mentioned here.

I just use the Food Saver brand and I've been happy with mine. I'm not putting away hundreds of pounds of wild game every year though so I'm not sure how quick it would burn up but definitely happy with mine.

I have had great results with my foodsaver and foodsaver bags. Hope you harvest plenty of protein to load ‘em up.
