Flintknapping is a hard skill to master, not just anyone can go.out and knap a point of any type, it took hours for some one to do this, I may not be an expert in archeology but my belief is that it is an authentic pre columbus point maybe 3000 be, its obsidian so it holds an edge for a very long time

The best thing about finding something like this, is just knowing how another hunter, many, MANY years ago walked that same ground, thinking many of the same thoughts, and feeling many of the same feelings as we have today, so many years later, right there. That connection over the centuries illustrates how integral hunting and fishing is to what we are as human beings. Congrats to Arica and the GoWild team for an amazing find. I look forward to learning more about this artifact here!👍🏻

Everyone is missing the really important part of this story. Can your friend who runs Tyler Childers' fan page get me to meet Tyler!?

When I find arrowheads my first thought is who was the last person to see it.

I have never found a point until this one. I’ve learned so much and can say I’ll never walk a creek bed without looking for arrowheads. The fact that people on Facebook and other groups said GoWild had planted this point for likes is absurd. I don’t have enough time and energy to concoct such plans - and if I did - it’d be for things much greater than Facebook likes. I will say that through this entire thing - the one platform that was always 100% supportive has been GoWild. From the moment we posted a picture of it we received nothing but support and congratulations. I don’t think a single person said a negative comment. Thanks GoWild community for always having our back!

If we were going to fake this I would have added arrowhead hunting to the time log. Now I’m a little ashamed it’s not there 😂

This is amazing!!! Congrats to you Arica and the entire GoWild team!!! And on my personal note... who gives a flipping rats you know what, what some snowflakes on facebook said. I don’t use facebook myself. I have better things to do with my time than listen to some dumb asses opinions about the political arena or there far left or far right viewpoints.... Like my paw always said, opinions are like buttholes, everyone’s got one and no more than you want to see there’s, no one wants to see yours so keep it to yourself...... guess those wofo’s (waste of friggon oxygen) on facebook never had good advice like that. So who cares what the rats say.... you know the truth, those who care know the truth, the pros who’s giving you the 411 on Arica’s find knows the truth.... and more importantly, the Good Lord knows the truth, beyond that, who cares!!! Great and outstanding job to you all!!! 😎😎😎
