Update on turkey hunt. We got into bad raining storm for 2 day straight before the hunt. Changed our game for turkey hunting. Unfortunately only saw 6 hen 3 different time, and 2 Tom on private land. Got close enough but didn’t work out. Hiked quite a bit to all swa lands. Found old cars trucks.  Cody was all about finding different tracks. Coyotes, turkey, deer after the rain. Pushed out whitetail doe 75 yards. He said I heard it wood snap! So cool! Asked him often do he hear anything? Birds chirp, wind blowing while we hiking trying to hear turkeys sounds.
