Calling in Coyotes: A New Adventure

Your going to be hooked for life when that first coyote comes in. Adrenaline will surge so try to force yourself to be calm for the shot. Place the caller about 30 yards upwind, coyotes tend to circle downwind. To k no it let a coyote get to where it can smell you or even get to where you walked cause it will smell you walked there.

@Coyote I’ve had the most success with various pup distress calls 👍

@Mason I don’t have a sequence. I call when I call, stop when I stop and start again when I do. You’ll learn to adjust with experience. For instance when I started it was 1 lone howl then wait a minute, rabbit distress for 2 minutes and silence for 3 minutes. Then repeat the rabbit sequence.

@Mason that sequence will work. Once after a long dry spell I went back to the beginning and called in a coyote.
