I see this every day we have clear skies and hunt around it during tue elk and deer seasons.

@Adam Nice. I was born and raised around the Sequim area. Used to hunt elk over near Riffe lake between Rainier and St. Helens. Great place for hunting. Shot a lot of deer in Washington. Blacktail are the best tasting deer I’ve had out of blacktail, whitetail and mule.

@Corey i have been chasing wapiti in that area, now mostly Port Blakely Timber Company land. In the last three years I have seen one herd. From what I’m told by the oldtimers, the number are taking a serious dive, suspiciously the same time timber companies started spraying instead of burning. Hoof rot is real bad, predators are on the rise as is hunters.
