The Best Hunting Show to Binge: Is Anything Better Than MeatEater?

Meat Eater, Fresh Tracks, and The Hunting Public all go above and beyond to help educate in one way or another rather than just videos of people shooting animals.

Love Meateater and Solo Hunter

I watch alot of whitetail adrenaline it's not on tv but it's all public land on the ground hunting

For me, Fresh Tracks is easily the best. I also really enjoy Brian Call’s Gritty on YouTube. We also watch every Meateater episode, and although I love Steve’s thoughtful reflection and narration, sometimes he is too much for me.

So the only things I don’t like about Meateater:

So the only things I don’t like about Meateater: (1) He (nor really any of the guests) ever get very excited. He’s just shot this amazing animal, and he’s like, “Ok. Let’s eat that liver.” I want to see some jumping and hollering or collapsing and crying - something that shows me this isn’t routine and you still LOVE it. (2) Since moving to Netflix, there’s a lot of foul language. It wasn’t necessary when it was in the Sportmans Channel, so I don’t see that it’s necessary now - doesn’t really add anything to the show.

Aside from MeatEater my favorite show to watch is The Hunting Public. With everything they post on YouTube it’s hard to keep up but it’s such good content!

Meat Eater is very rehearsed and set up. Untamed and Randy Newberg are not rehearsed and don’t have that fake feeling.

@Adrian agree with the language. It was a show we watched as a family, now not so much. Unless Clay is involved, then it’s safe.

Meat eater recipes are spot on, get the recipe book.
