Missouri

I’m from a small town in North West Missouri near the Iowa border that most have probably never heard of. I cut my teeth hunting the hard woods that our area has to offer. My love for the outdoors began as soon as I was big enough to handle a fishing pole. My grandpa would take me to our small river where he would wade across the water find a small hole, set me up on a log and let me start fishing. He probably baited my hook and took more fish off for me than he fished himself but I don’t think he minded. At age 7 I took my first turkey and first deer with grandpa by my side. My love for hunting has only grown since then and I later began Bowhunting on my own. I’m now married and have a son who will soon be old enough to hunt and he’s fired up for it! I can’t wait to pass on my love for the outdoors to my son!
