Socialism is a disease of the heart and it is present all over the world.

  • Brayden's avatar

    Dang that sucks!

  • Cooper's avatar

When the car accident rates shoot through the roof and insurance companies start lobbying, they’ll Chang their mind.

  • Jeremiah's avatar

I’m at a loss for where the people

  • Jeremiah's avatar

… of this planet are headed (accidentally sent that first one too early). Society is quickly headed in the wrong direction on most fronts.

  • David's avatar

Wow, didn't know archery hunting was banned in Australia

  • Zach's avatar

    @David it isn’t but it’s in trouble

  • Brad's avatar

This is so ridiculous. Are they blaming it on “wounded animals”?

  • David's avatar

So let me get this straight.. They took your guns. And now, a technique that is 1,000’s of years old, bow and arrow, is not allowed to hunt.. ? Why? What about the aboriginal people? Are the allowed? Man, that’s just horrible…

  • John's avatar

Just sad, we’re literally watching the evaporation of centuries of tradition for “progress.”

  • Zach's avatar

@Brad yeah that’s it animal cruelty, we aren’t aloud to shoot native animals with bows every year some idiots shoot kangaroos with field points

  • Zach's avatar

@David they haven’t taken all of our guns just made some very tipis laws on owning them

  • Brad's avatar

@Zach I’m from the USA, we have plenty of idiots (see recent post about lady who shot a “wolf pup” that turned out to be a dog)

  • Zach's avatar

@Brad yeah I seen that it happens ! Yeah that dog/ wolf ones strange If her story’s right it definitely is a tough one

  • Josh's avatar

    @Blood are you tracking this?

  • Blood's avatar

@Josh yes sir. Been in contact with Zach. We are in contact with the folks in the know politically and waiting to say something.

  • Hunter's avatar

    Damn I’m feel bad

  • Rick's avatar

No intent to ban ownership of bows or crossbows…..yet!

  • Keith's avatar

    That is crazy

  • Steven's avatar

    Wow just wow

  • Scott's avatar

Australia looks like such an awesome place to visit, and mostly because of the people. But the politics seem awful.

  • Jeanine's avatar

    😢

  • David's avatar

It boils down to these people in government leadership roles have gotten a taste of power and they want more and want to be dictators. Y’all stay armed and watch your backs. Govt’s don’t care about us. We have to care for each other!

  • Alex's avatar

    That sucks man.

  • Benita's avatar

    👀

  • Chuck's avatar

    That is insane!

  • Jimmy's avatar

Wow remind me to never go to Australia then

  • Southeastern's avatar

Hate it for you man - looks like it’s time to move.

  • Dan's avatar

That’s to bad don’t let our Government hear about it they’ll be doing the same thing

  • Cameron's avatar

    Tyranny

  • Martin's avatar

Zach I wish you and all of the honest ethical hunters don't end up suffering for the few bad apples over there. I hope the government there thinks it through with logic and science and make the best call for everyone and thing. My fingers are crossed that all works out for you.

  • Eric's avatar

Australia is such a gorgeous place to live. It really is a shame your politicians are so much like ours

  • Eric's avatar

    Best of luck, brother.

  • Zach's avatar

That sucks. Aus sounds like a tough place to live with a very overbearing government but I only hear of stuff 2nd hand

  • Zach's avatar

At the end of the day they can ban it but can’t stop it. If I have to make a self bow and use stone points that’s what I’ll be doing

  • Mike's avatar

Fight them tooth and nail .. idk what I would do I imagine.. I would find some buds and give them hell..

  • Zach's avatar

@Mike already am mate ! Bringing the world of hunters at them

  • Mike's avatar

Australia is crazy with restrictions.. between Covid lockdowns and this I feel for you guys

  • Mike's avatar

If you don’t mind I will share this on other platforms

  • Zach's avatar

@Mike yeah go nuts also have a 5 minute breakdown on my podcast hunting connection podcast

  • Matthew's avatar

I can't even begin to think of anything worth saying.... this is just ludicrous.

  • Mike's avatar

    Okay will do what platform

  • Zach's avatar

    @Mike Spotify, iTunes, YouTube etc

  • Mike's avatar

Okay I’ll keep spreading the word I’m @ ugly hunt outdoors on Facebook

  • Benita's avatar

@Zach there's something wrong here, I guess hunters will eventually become outmoded...🤯 I guess self sufficiency is highly frowned upon...🤷🏻‍♀️

  • Zac's avatar

Ahhh yes ban the oldest form of hunting. Makes sense

  • Benita's avatar

    @Eric 👀

  • Eric's avatar

    @Benita ?

  • Benita's avatar

@Eric seems quite similar to me...

  • Eric's avatar

    What does?

  • Benita's avatar

@Eric what you said about the politicians...

  • Ferg's avatar

I hope they don’t manage it man. It’s never been legal over here in Scotland. They don’t want to have to pay people to manage the land with the bows being quiet, easy for poachers. But it wrecks things for folks that want to live legally.seems that’s politics to the core man, no thought required, just ban things for an easy way out eh. And this is the people that are meant to be looking after the country

  • Ferg's avatar

Scotlands animals management practises are appalling man. They have people in place to fill the deer but most just use it to take friends out and hunt on the quiet then sell the deer for meat. All they need to hand on is the ears to prove a kill for payment and proof of culling. Some of them have set up there own venison business so at least the meat is being out to use but they don’t ever manage a population. There’s no buck to doe ratios over an area, keeping numbers to decent level where they get to live without too much damage to land life in it. No ethical or moral judgements, just see a deer, shoot a deer. It could all be managed so much better if they just put some effort in to it

  • Ferg's avatar

@Blood outstanding. Hope you can bring some much needed light on the subject

  • Ferg's avatar

    Cull the deer☝🏻

  • Blood's avatar

@Ferg with all of these situations you have to be very mindful that when you speak it’s for the good vs., going off half cocked. We are being patient and waiting for the right time to say something.

  • Reelrydor-'s avatar

I would be holding out of countries with " one world order" leaders! Although in Revelations eventually we will all be in one

  • Andrew's avatar

Well that BS I really dont know to other than that. What is there reasoning for this dicision since you have some many feral animals that are not native.

  • Ferg's avatar

@Blood yea i agree, avoiding a fight works out better for everyone

  • Nick's avatar

That’s dumb! Why would they do that? It’s the opposite in MA , they do t want us hunting with guns and don’t care about bows

  • David's avatar

So, can you use a boomerang? It sounds funny, but It’s more than capable of taking out an animal, right? (Absolutely no experience using one, well, using one correctly that it doesn’t end up in the neighbors window and my dad pissed off when I was a kid…)

  • Zach's avatar

@Andrew it’s animal cruelty they are trying to ban it under

  • John's avatar

@Nick for now anyhow…. This place is all over the enlightened place - lol

  • Darren's avatar

A lot of laws are being changed these days simply because of social media attention (mostly in the wrong ways) this is a perfect case for the hunting community to catch up with the times and use social media to influence politics. It’s stories like these that we need to go viral. Thanks for sharing!

  • Zach's avatar

@Darren yeah man I’ve been reaching out to hunters everywhere to help

  • Benita's avatar

@Darren the only things that really go viral are stupid things, like this person just wore blah blah and looked at tadada....😂

  • Benita's avatar

@Zach that's B's, they taking away the right to hunt...

  • Darren's avatar

@Benita Yep! There’s no shortage of stupid out there😂
