    We had this during kill season here. We ended up harvesting the bear. 250# dressed. Based on the sounds of the dogs and their tracks on the GPS, we figured by the time our shooter got in, it was the third time the dogs had caught the bear on the ground. Thankfully, only one injured dog. The rear were pretty good about staying just out of reach. Never a good feeling when you’re a long way from your dogs and that’s what’s going on.
