@Lisa Thanks Lisa, hope all is well. How did the job interview go? Did you decide to take the position?

  • Lisa's avatar

Thanks for asking, Wayne. All is well. My two sons are doing great, so that always makes my heart happy.😇
I had 4 interviews and took the position that was offered. 👏🏻🙏✝️☝🏻 This week started my training, and I am so thankful for the staff that is there for any questions I may have. It has been a great process so far!
How's the family with the son that relocated to Heaven, are they staying strong in Jesus? 🙏

@Lisa That's great and I'm so happy to hear that for you. I'm sure you will do great things with them. And they are doing ok, still alot of healing to take place but as far as I know they have had a pretty good support group with them.

Makes my heart sad everytime of think of them. I remember their last name starting with an "S" so now when I mention them in prayer, it goes sorta like, "Lord, the family that Wayne told me about, whose son is now with You...."
It's surely something one can hardly deal with. We have a couple GoWild'ers that have lost sons. Infact, Rick of Gobblerknob on here (I won't tag him) wrote a book on grief and shared his experience. https://gobblerknoblongrifles.com/index.php/product/coping-with-grief-surviving-the-unexpected-loss-of-a-child/
Might be a nice thing to quietly hand them some time. Just a thought.

Hugs in Christ to you and your beautiful family

  • Congratulations!

@Lisa Yes its hard the even think about. And I appreciate the prayers for them and for us. And yes I'm going to give that a read. Thank you Lisa and same to you and your family.

I love that you're getting kids involved. Nice job!

@James man they love it. Get a little bored from time to time but when the deer show up they get pretty excited.

haha yeah, my 9 yo boy is the same way.

@James yea man I usually just try and get them out there like an hour or so before dark but where we hunt right now the deer movement isn't really consistent so you never know when one's gonna walk by.
