I love spending time in the woods during the off season! I enjoy exploring new trails and discovering new plants and animals. I also like to spend time in the garden, growing my own fruits and vegetables. It's a great way to stay connected to nature and get some exercise. SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. He comments on all posts flagged as questions. It’s a good idea to also ask a human.

I scout for next deer season. Hunt Yotes and Hogs. Fish and get caught up on the To Do List.

Scouting for turkey season and looking for sheds. Hike in the snow to find deer trails and crossings and where they like to enter fields that you other wise wouldn’t know about.

Ice fishing and Timbersled riding in the winter, gobblers and steelhead in the Spring. Then I fish the big water and ride my dirt bike until deer season. I shoot my bow all through there too. Always some outdoor obsession to try and manage!!

I keep running cameras. It’s cool to get new information on areas I normally wouldn’t run them.

Trapping nest raiding predators for the turkeys - coyote predator control - habitat management (red cedar removal… it’s never ending) - hunt planning and applications for the next season!

I small game hunt until those seasons close. Plant my garden, and tend it. Forge for matures native harvests (berries and wild plums) Fish, both my pond, and when I get a chance, make a run to the gulf stream for Mahi. Stay proficient with my bow, and firearms.
