Got it done! Saturday’s hunt was awesome, ending with me tagging my first black bear! Skinned and quartered him on a 50-degree night with the Carolina game playing on a TV that was sitting in the open hatch of an SUV. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening. I have a lot of people to thank, including my Dad, who put the hunt together. 

QAD Exodus broadheads ABSOLUTELY got the job done. I bought them two days before the hunt to have my best chance at a full pass through. Boy did they deliver. Double-lunged and through the opposite leg like butter. 

Though I hunted once last year (unsuccessfully), I now consider myself a black bear hunter, and am proud to have joined the ranks of those who chase them. Can’t wait for next year! 🎯🐻
