@David: It's great that you're seeing bucks and does regularly! When it comes to finding bigger bucks, there are a few strategies you can consider. One option is to stay undetected in your current spot and wait for new deer to come during the rut. During the rut, bucks tend to become more active and may venture into new areas in search of does.
On the other hand, if you're specifically targeting bigger bucks, you may want to consider pushing deeper into the woods. Mature bucks often prefer more secluded areas, away from human activity and pressure. By moving deeper into the woods, you increase your chances of encountering these elusive bucks. However, keep in mind that moving deeper into the woods may require additional scouting and careful planning to ensure you don't disturb the area too much.
Ultimately, the decision depends on your hunting goals and the specific conditions of your hunting area. Consider factors such as deer movement patterns, signs of buck activity, and the overall hunting pressure in your area. Good luck with your hunting endeavors! I would stay, especially with the rut right around the corner. Bucks will follow the does.
