I can’t wait until the heat breaks in Az so I can get out scouting! I love that animals will approach you when you don’t even try until the season opens 😂.

@Josh absolutely! We'll see what they do when season opens, haha. Good luck.

@Derek Not gonna lie, my legs weren't too happy with me after that jaunt. Glad we found one definite kill hole for deer, I'm sure anywhere we find that forces deer through like that will do the same to a bear when it passes though. I just hope we can get into some more concentrated bear sign. If not, topo pinchpoints will do.

@Appalachian yeah, I'm definitely dragging today after my fishing trip on Friday, scouting on Saturday and 2 hockey games Sunday night. In the gym now. Ain't gotta get ready if you stay ready! Haha. Looking forward to the next scouting trip.

Good stuff! Next time you come here, leave the rain behind!!

  • Derek's avatar

@Gobbler I've been trying to figure out how to do that and it isn't working. Now we're getting it here back at home.

That sounds like a darn great way to spend two days!!

@David it was for sure a fun filled two days, but I was tired after!

Looks like you 2 can’t blame me for the torrential downpours. Hope you guys didn’t have any yellow jackets in your 💩 after gorging 🤪

  • Derek's avatar

@Mike the rain is definitely me! And we tried to eat some yellow jacket nest but Kaleb apparently doesn't like them very much....

@Derek they say it increases adrenaline to help with those legs🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

That shed you found could belong at @Brad I hear he lost one

  • Derek's avatar

@Chuck it's possible if he was in East Tennessee.

  • Chuck's avatar

@Derek that was small effort at humor on my part based on a post Brad had made about a missing shed

  • Derek's avatar

@Chuck I caught it, haha! Sometimes it's hard to communicate that over typed messages, especially since I refuse to use emojis, haha.

@Mike yeah, something about the acute anaphylaxis and seeing the light on the hospital steps back when I was 16 keeps them on my bad side.

    @Appalachian that’ll do that…
