So sorry for your loss Brad, I lost my best friend a few years ago and a short time after I got a new Pup my Bluetick Maggie, I still miss the one that I lost but Maggie brings me lots of joy and happiness every day and every night when we are in the woods doing what we both love to do, I hope you find yourself a new Pup and best friend soon!

Mack was there when we brought all 3 of our children home from the hospital as newborns. He was an integral part of our family and still missed and talked about on nearly a daily basis even after 3 years. Like you, it was the most I cried in my adult life.

Sorry for your loss. It is never and easy thing to do. It’s been a year since I said goodbye to my best friend Bella. It does get easier but you still always miss them.

Hey Mr. Brad, this is the first time I’ve come across your account but I wanna say, a dogs love is like no other. A dog’s love comes in a close second to a mother’s love. I’m sure you did your best with Ernie and he knew that. He loved you through the thick and thin. When you got him as a puppy he instantly thought of you as his best friend. So you were his best friend for his whole life, and he was your best friend for his whole life. He knows you’ll be lonely without him for a while but he also knows you’ll find another puppy to bond with again. He’ll be watching you from heaven waiting on you to come through those gates so y’all can be together again. Much love brotha ❤️

@Brad No I don’t think I have heard it, Maggie sure helped me get over losing my Bulldog Max, Max was fixing to be 10 years old when he passed away and shortly after his passing I got Maggie and started back Coon hunting, I still miss Max but Maggie brings me lots of love and happiness and lots of fun in the woods lol.

@Brad, I read your newsletter this morning. We’re at the family farm for Thanksgiving this week. My best dog is buried here. When I walked by his tree (the one he’s buried under) your newsletter and your family came to mind. Hope you’re doing ok.
