    Congratulations on your new Polaris Sportsman 850! It sounds like you are going to have a great time with all the features you mentioned. If you have any questions or need advice, feel free to ask. We'd be happy to help! SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. I don’t know anything about them but will say congrats on the new ride 👊 Sounds like it’s going to be one awesome machine!

    @John thanks brother

  • Brian's avatar

    I love mine, I even got a snow plow with it and make a little side money plowing driveways, it even has the heated grips. I think you'll like it. 👍

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Brian o wow sounds nice wich one do you have

  • Brian's avatar

    I have the 450 sportsman with the camo pattern

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Brian nice the salesmen asked if I wanted the camo pattern said it would be an additional 300 I said no thanks lol screw that sure it looked really nice but not for 300 extra dollars

    They are easily the smoothest riding, only advice I can give is keep up on the maintenance. Congrats!

  • Brian's avatar

    @Ronnie it was the only one they had when I went to buy mine,it's a 2015 and I bought it new in 2016 so they gave me a good discount.

    @Brian nice

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Mike thanks wich model you have

  • Arne's avatar

    If it has the independent rear suspension, just be a little cautious side hilling. But they do ride nice!

  • Jon's avatar

    what happened to the good ole days when an ATV with all the bells and whistles cost less than six grand. You could buy a used Jeep wrangler for 13K.

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Jon lol yea but every year there making them better an better

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Arne right on thanks

  • Simon's avatar

    I have the opposite relationship with Polaris but I’m also younger so the Hondas that never die are pretty nice and bells a whistles don’t mean much to me but if the world were to end I’d take a Honda any day.

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Simon have you ever owned a polaris before

  • Simon's avatar

    Yeah a couple

  • Simon's avatar

    No new ones though I had a 2011 sportsman 500 and I have a Polaris magnum 325

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @Simon an you don't like emm

  • Simon's avatar

    @Ronnie I personally like Honda more just due to there simplicity

  • Simon's avatar

    It’s a lot harder to fix a Polaris than a honda

    On a different topic, besides heat guns or lots of buffing, any tips for getting the oxidation out of old plastic? Thinking about trying a paint thinner and boiled linseed oil mix I been reading about.

  • John's avatar

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @John how far away from Ohio are you do you no

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @John I have a buddy who gets it made an fries it up with some eggs for breakfast now I don't care for it fried but hey what ever you do is up to you

  • John's avatar

    @Ronnie you’ve sold me! I’m going to have to find a butcher that makes it. I love a fried bologna and egg sandwich 🥪 I’m in western Ky so I’d say a good 4 hours at least. It’s around 2 1/2 hrs for us to get to Louisville.

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @John dam that's not to bad we should get together an do a hunt together do you have a spring turkey hunting spot

  • John's avatar

    @Ronnie sounds like your not to far. I go a little behind the house and on some of my cousins ground that farms. Maybe one day when the kids get a little older we could work something out. Right now are kids are all 6 & under & the baby has some pretty significant health issues. So, my planning to leave or hunt much isn’t happening right now. But, hopefully that’ll change as he gets a little older 🙏

  • Ronnie's avatar

    @John absolutely I hope all is well brother
