Starting a DIY on my left handed Winchester Model 70 300 WM. Got it used a few years back and it was a good shooter, but the blue was maybe 50%. It had a hard life before I got it. The previous owner told me he was going to rebarrel it because it wouldn’t hold a group. I bought it as is and the only issue was the action screws weren’t torqued. Now she’s a tack driver in need of a clean up. Started with the bottom metal and doing a cold blue. 3 coats in and it’s getting a nice shine…but have to stop for dinner so she’ll get finished later.
