    I would have just cleaned the dust off and sealed them with a clear coat.

  • @Coyote I did that first and it just magnified the weathered look so I lightly sanded them and put a coat primer on it and then painted them.

    @Stephen that’s exactly why I would have done it. Some things just look better old and weathered. Well actually I would have done what they wanted me to do.

  • @Coyote Lol, yeah I like the weathered rustic look myself but the white does look better on the church lol, all of the windows and trim are white so they asked me to paint them white to match the rest of it.
