One of the most rewarding things for me as a wildlife officer was working hands-on with wildlife. Helping turtles and young wildlife is a passion. Well-done, brother!

@Gobbler luckily I had deck lights to get people’s attention. I thought we were but gonna get hit by some jackhole. If he’s there again he’s gonna get “rescued.” I wasn’t 100% sure he was orphaned or he’d be chilling in the man cave until he’s a little bigger, haha

One time when I was bass fishing a large pond I had the pleasure of watching a half dozen kits leave the den and play just as kittens would. They are amazing creatures, have you ever seen one go up a tree? A Grey fox will climb vertical and Reds will climb deadfall, I've seen them get 20' high before.

@Appalachian that’s awesome. We once had red fox kits that were raised in our barn at my farm. The first one I saw was in the loft and the ladder was up. I’ve also seen coyotes go up deadfalls to 15-20’. Amazing animals.

@Mike That's awesome! Once I had a coyote jump up on an old 4' tall moss covered stone fence and trot in to ten yards on top of it. As I came to full draw I realized it had three legs, I shook my head as I let down and watched it trot away

One of my Austrian friends had one as pet lol.
Think she took it in while it was young and it just stayed lol.
She luved in a cabin up in the mountains there, so it was a good home for it.
