    I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you please clarify what you need help with? SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. He comments on all posts flagged as questions. It’s a good idea to also ask a human.

    Target all the sows, even the little ones and let the boars walk.

    Id say have at least 2 people on a hunt, 1 with a shotgun with 00 buck and the other with some kind of semi auto rifle so you can get ‘em up close and as their running away.

    Remote traps but they are expensive. You have to trap the whole drove. You’ll never kill enough with a gun to even notice a difference

    I’d do a 2 step approach. Yes Mike is correct Remote traps can be expensive. The most economical but very effective one I’ve found is the Pigbrig. Most remote traps do not allow for catching more once the trap door is closed however the pig brig will continue to catch more pigs while also keeping the trapped ones inside. The second approach is hunting them. You can go cheaper with night vision. ATN corp has night vision scopes around $700 but I would recommend upgrading the IR light. I upgraded to thermal but a decent thermal will run you around 3 grand up. I do both because the they learn quickly and become trap skittish. That’s where the night hunting helps with the rest. Unfortunately hog control is no different than any predator hunting. It’s a ongoing battle that requires maintenance as surrounding properties will have them also and if they aren’t managing them as well, you will still have some if you do not maintain them yearly. Hit me back anytime if you have any more questions. I’ll provide links to what I use. Good luck in your endeavors.

    My bro n laws family has a very large tract of land. Guests/trappers everybody hunts and kills them religiously. Last year around 1800 with two zeroes were killed/trapped on it and you wouldn’t know it

    @Mike that’s discouraging

    @Scott appreciate the insights! I’ll reach out if I hit any road blocks

  • Get a massive hog trap with the gates that drop down put corn and sweets in the middle and hide in the bushes whenever there is a lot of them in side drop the gates
