@Brad nice buck! as well as processing yourself. I have done the same all my life. in my opinion, commercially processed game meat accounts for 90% of the reason people dislike it. Are you going to age any of it? I've become extremely particular on how I work my game meat over the years. Well done Sir! EC

@Brad generally speaking...I like 7 days. I will quarter the animal after letting it hang (hide off) for about 24 hours if space and temp allow. then I will hang in my outdoor shed for another 6 days or so. you will loose a small amount of meat due to drying but the end result is well worth. the aging process is a natural tenderizer as well as will accumulate a lot of flavor as the amino acids begin to break the tissue down. older mature deer I will usually go a touch longer. it's important to keep the meat dry and within temp. I currently have a young deer aging now. I know the trophy buck is the sought after harvest but a young buck or doe filet steak thats been aged properly is hands down one of the best steaks you will ever eat!

@Benita I've noticed it will do this at times if I'm not on wifi...I've also found that sometimes it has to do with my phone rather than the app. I simply restart my phone and it usually works. if that doesn't, I sign out and back in of GoWild. one of those has always fixed the issue
