I’ve had to look for clean arrows in the ground too many times this season…. 😔

@Seth This season was full of heart ache and LOTS of learning opportunities! I still have hopes for the late season antler-less at the end of this month.

Looks we’re all in the same boat lol hi I’m josh this is my first year I have fought this hard with our sport

@Joshua I only let the one fly so far this season. I’m fairly new to the sport as well and I enjoy getting in on the deer nearly as much as harvesting them. My wife tells me I’m a deer watcher, not a hunter. She’s mostly right 😂

@Joe well as long as your enjoying it it’s still pure I been holding out for just 1 of 2 bucks and well I have this weekend to pull a rabbit as they say out of a hat or eat tag soup I’m hoping to get a doe but it’s hard with the antlers already dropping to even consider letting an arrow fly

Hopefully that’s a good sign that things are turning around for ya man

@Mike I’m not sweating it. I’m just glad I was able to go hunting with the schedule I’ve had over the last season. New state, new terrain, new tactics added to the bank. I also learned that if you buy the KS archery season long tag that you can’t buy a gun tag later…

I’ve always loved the outdoors, especially the mountain west! There’s nothing like a mountain stream nymphing for a hard to reach brook trout, a football rainbow, or that lurking 18” brown! Being in The military keeps me away from the mountains I love but in the last 4 years I’ve discovered the whitetail woods and it’s changed my life! Now I try to find ways to share what I love with my family and friends whether it’s taking them out on a trip or sharing natures bounty.
