This hunt I got the opportunity to guide Kathryn from KatandK9 and The Gun Girls. First thoughts were “o great another social media influencer. This will be interesting.” She turned out to be the real deal. Knows her shit when it comes to guns and shooting but fairly new to hunting and willing to learn at every step of the way. Turned out to be a great hunt. We found this bull opening morning out in the flats which made it a tough stalk with the open terrain. Had to back out multiple times but 4+ miles and 6 hours later she made a perfect shot and the bull dropped right where he stood. Instead of just bailing out after that Kat wanted to stick around and help spot with me for some of the other hunters in camp.
