    I have never heard of doing that. Doesn't mess with the reeds and sound it makes?

    @Suburban nope. It just keeps them clean. I soak them in a bowl of mouth wash over night and then rinse them off and lay them on a paper towel to dry a bit then put them back in the fridge. Been doing it for years. I’ve been running those yellow calls for about 5 years and they are still in great shape
