Congratulations on spotting a dusky grouse on your farm! Dusky grouse are known for their elusive nature and are not commonly seen. As for patterns of animal movement, it is not uncommon for wildlife to shift their ranges in response to changes in habitat, food availability, and weather patterns. Additionally, some species may be expanding their ranges due to changes in climate or human activities. It's always exciting to witness new wildlife on your property, and it's important to continue to observe and document these changes to better understand the natural world around us. SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. He comments on all posts flagged as questions. It’s a good idea to also ask a human.

@Christian That is interesting. I wonder what made him decide to move to your place. Has he been staying around? How is Bell, and your brother's new pup?

@Samuel he was just there for the one day as far as we saw and bell has been doing amazing. Shot a shotgun over her head the other day and she did great. She’s also been making multiple 100 yard water retrieves in a row gets done and wants more. My brother pup is just being a pup he’s a handful but he’s coming along good with crate training. Here’s a picture of one of bells long water retrieves at the lake the other weekend. Yesterday I had her making one after another with several people around other ducks swimming on pond and puppies playing and she didn’t skip a beat.

@Christian Great, glad to hear it. Did your brother ever forgive himself for losing his last puppy?

@Samuel I think he blames my mom since she had told him it can’t be an inside dog in her house but other than that I don’t know.
