@Jackson: Freezing the rabbit skin in a ziplock bag should help preserve it, but it may not completely eliminate the scent. While freezing can slow down the decomposition process and reduce odor, some scent may still remain. It's important to note that dogs have a keen sense of smell, so they might still be able to detect the scent, even if it's faint. To enhance the scent for training purposes, you can consider using specialized scent products or natural scents like rabbit urine or gland secretions. Remember to always follow safe handling practices when working with animal parts. SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. Stretch it and let it dry. Do not salt or tan. Once it’s dry it will be stiff. Cut into a few strips and wrap em up with paper. They’ll each retain plenty of scent for a few scent trails.

@Aaron yeah I know, I have traps out but I haven’t been successful with those. So the best option I have is the skin. But I’m still trying to trap. Do you have any rabbit trapping tips?
