@Appalachian awesome! Can I ask what you’re using? What your set up is like?

@Charity So one day I bought a lone wolf assault and a set of sticks and I wasn't satisfied withe the weight and size, especially at the price point. So I cut down a stick and mounted the treestand seat to make the platform and I bought a 50 dollar rock climbing harness.

Nowadays I just pack in the platform harness and 30' rope, weighing in around 8lbs. And fits inside my pack. I "one stick" with the platform and rappell down when I'm done. Here is last year's saddle buck from about 1.5 miles in after kayaking in. I rattled him to the base of the tree

@Appalachian wow! That’s freaking awesome! And great buck too 😁 wished we would have thought about something like that. Pretty cool. We do try to do as much diy as we can or at least have time to. Sure beats the pricing on things now days for sure. I’d love to see a pic of that stick if ya have one

@Charity I' don't have a good one on my phone now but I can take one next time I practice shooting out of it.

If you ever get tired of fooling with the sticks, take a look at the mad rock decender. I'm no athlete by any means and one sticking a rappelling it's where it's at in the mobile game
