@Mark McRobie thank you sir! I can’t take credit. My fiancé was in the garage one day with me and I was showing her what I was doing, and she was like, have you ever thought about those door stop wedges? 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

So, one other thing I’d recommend… steel cable and aluminum ferrules. Just thread the wire through the back of the camera, then use the ferrules to make eye loops on each end. I just use a pair of pliers to clamp the steel cable. That combo along with putting them higher up like you do, I haven’t had one stolen in years.

Dude, great point! I’ll be going to Home Depot soon for some steel cable haha. Thank you sir.

@Scott yessir! I usually run a combination lock as well. I mean, if they really wanted to, they could break the plastic to take it, but the combination of all those factors seem to keep people “honest” 😉.

Oh yeah that’s a good point as well. I figure if their eye is good enough to see these things up at 12 feet, and they come back with sticks to steal it, we’ll then they’re the top 10% of the real assholes and they can have it. I’m only running about 5 cameras and I get pretty far back in on public.
