Best time of the yr in my opinion to scout for next yr is right after this season ends. Scrapes and rubs are still visible . Bedding areas and travel routes used this time of yr can be found especially if you have snow. I personally think the intel you gather right after season is way more valuable than preseason scouting.

Do your best to study their patterns even though your not out there hunting.

If you have a snow make sure and get out and make some waypoints on trails. Especially intersecting ones. You can also make waypoints on rubs and scrapes. I use on x hunt app.
