Brother, we’ve had more than our share! If I could figure out how to get some to you…

@Gobbler we did last week also. That made it TOO wet to plant. Now, it’s not in the forecast for awhile…. Heading over to irrigate now

What did you plant in that section? Looks great!

@Dane thanks man👊. It’s Northwoods Whitetails’ collaboration with Whitetail Habitat Solutions Green Forage Blend. It has soybeans, peas and oats. I also added some red clover and radishes. I’ll over-seed with Rye grass in a few weeks.

@Mike that sounds awesome! I’ve had good luck with a blend similar to that from Mossy Oak especially when you run the cultipacker before and after planting to minimize the dirt clods. Had some of the best stands of it after broadcast fertilizing it when it got to a 2-3 inch tall stand to help the root system. Hope it all works well for you man!

@Dane thanks! Which fertilizer do you use? I’ve been experimenting with several and haven’t found the magic combo. Last years triple 30 resulted in some yellowing where I burned it….

@Mike I can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head and I’m out of town for the week but I can look when I make it back. I just reached out to a local fertilizer supplier, not sure what you have in your area but something similar to Nutrien Ag. Before we went the fertilizer route we reached out to the local extension office for a free soil sample test to get a better idea on what exactly was needed for our soil type.
