Yeah, that is a great accurate round, my dad kill a yote with it about 70 yd while running. Plus to it too is there is zero recoil.

I shot a small coyote with it and never found it. Unless it wants to stand there looking at me where I can put it in its head I’ll never again shoot a coyote with my 17hmr.

Yeah, its all about shot placement.

@Coyote I’ve shot 8+ coyote with my 17hmr and most of them have dropped

@Brayden I will say at the time all I had was the 17 grain vmax so that probably played a big part. Maybe it would have dropped of I had the 20 grain hp.
