Took my partner in crime to the turkey nest and she popped a dandy one! Roosted him and snuck in real tight. Got a good show on the roost and he pitched down and strutted into 15 yards or so. It sounded like her heart pounding might spook him off so I gave her the signal to shoot. He hit the ground like a ton of bricks and never moved another muscle. So glad to be back after them! I'll be in the hardwoods tomorrow!
