So thankful to have found this beautiful buck I shot last Sunday evening. October 16th is the earliest I’ve ever killed a buck! After making a poor shot on this buck, the blood trail was very difficult to follow. My buddy AJ came out Sunday night to help but it was impossible to track with flashlights. So Monday morning Tony took off work as well to help me track, and thank god he did. After combing through every inch of woods he looked at a map and noticed there was one block of woods in the middle of two fields we hadn’t checked. We went there and immediately picked up the blood trail up the edge of the beans. That led us to where he turned into that block of woods and he was just 100 yard into those woods. Thanks to his creative thinking and approach to tracking we were able to recover this buck! Forever thankful for the great friends I have and the blessings God has given.
