Trail camera pics from a historical scrape that I have seen active for the last 4 years. Pre-rut action from two good bucks this season. Was fortunate enough to see the 10/25 on stand twice during the rut. 

First encounter of the 10/25 buck was October 29th. Was in my stand backed up on a ridge. The buck was grunting running through the creek bottom behind and below me. I grunted at him and he came up the ridge 40 yards to my right on the other side of a pine tree cluster with no shot opportunity. Got up to a doe trail on the ridge top, nose to ground, and stayed on it heading away from me. 

Second encounter was two weekends later. Got into the woods late still hunting my way back to a stand to sit through mid day movement. Two minutes after getting set up, the big buck was chasing a doe right towards me. Doe went down to the creek bottom and the buck followed suit on the same trail the buck came up during the first encounter. Got the blood pumping for sure!
