    What's your surf setup? I plan on doing this one day if I ever get back to the beach

    @Adam so @Jacob will give you a ton of options, but I’m using my bass rod / reel with a braided line / 20 lb salt line. I used a pompano rig with frozen shrimp and it was getting bites but the shrimp generally didn’t stay on too long.

    @Adam I use a medium power fast action spinning setup. The same one I use for bass. 25 or 30 size reel. 20lb braid with a 20-25lb leader. You don’t need a special rod for the surf.
