    Keep up the practice. You’re doing great. Work on volume levels also. Turkeys have exceptional hearing and sometimes you need to tone it down. 👍🏻

    Your purr sounds great. I have hunted for 35 years and seldom use a purr. But only because I can’t do it that good. The cadence sounds more like a Jake yelp. I think a little higher pitch and faster yelp would be more typical of a hen. Not that Jake yelps won’t work. I have used them when hen calling doesn’t work. Keep it up sounds great for a beginner. It would definitely pull one in distance. Good luck this season 💪💪

    Actually it’s not really the cadence it’s a more drawn out yelp. If y’a know what I’m saying?
