@Jeff I just looked it up… 151 miles from me about 3 hour drive from my place. I’m more on the end of the Fingerlakes Region.

Ahhh ok. Yeah that’s a ride lol I’ve been hunting Hudson Valley area for about 12 years now. Some of the best hunting I’ve ever experienced.

@Jeff I’ve heard good things about Hudson Valley for sure. I haven’t ventured much from home, I’m pretty lucky with the amount of land and caliber of deer around my area, it’s a nice little pocket. I also bought land up in the Adirondack Region, little 40 acres with a cabin and a barn that touches 300 acres of public. I’ve never had experience chasing true deep dark woods bucks before and we have quite a few black bear up there too. Looking forward to learning that in the coming years.

Excellent! We have a healthy heard of black bear here in NH and in Hudson Valley. I’ve taken a couple bears myself. It’s a whole new adventure! Good luck this season!
