    Chris, one of his buddies and I are going on a road trip in a couple weeks hoping to get into some spring snow goose hunting in Missouri. I’m bringing about 10 different jerkys to taste test on the way and decide which to keep making and which are just ehh.

    @Tom the sandhill cranes have been croaking their way across these skies for a week or so. I think the birds are on the move. Good luck with the snows!

    We used to make the ground meat jerky when the kids were in braces. Haven’t made it in years.

    @Chris yeah I personally like the whole muscle better but the ground is a great way to use up a bit of that trim when you already have enough burger.
